Solubilizers
A solubilizer is a substance that allows lipophilic substances (vegetable oils, essential oils, Tocopherol, Bisabolol, etc.) to be dissolved in water, without changing their chemical structure. The solubilizer acts as a surfactant, which intercalates existing fats into micelles, thus rendering them water-soluble. Depending on the size of the micelles, the solution may appear perfectly clear to milky.
