TER Chemicals acquires Selectnutrition and strengthens its position in the food & nutrition segment
TER Chemicals announces the acquisition of the nutrition business unit of the Selectchemie group. With this strategic decision, TER Chemicals is sending a clear signal for growth in the food & nutrition sector and is further expanding its presence in the Swiss market as well as throughout the DACH region.
The nutrition division of Selectchemie, which has been operating under the name Selectnutrition, is a leading distributor for the Swiss food and supplement industry, representing a wide range of renowned suppliers. With its own application laboratory and a broad product portfolio, the company’s food experts develop innovative solutions and concepts for numerous segments of the industry.
Selectchemie will focus more consistently on the pharmaceutical sector in the future and has therefore decided to hand over the Selectnutrition business to a trusted partner. Both companies agreed on the acquisition in Zurich in December 2025. In addition, a transition period until April 1, 2026 has been arranged to ensure the smooth transfer of ongoing business and partnerships.
As part of the acquisition, TER Chemicals will take on all employees of Selectnutrition and ensure seamless integration into the existing Swiss entity, TER Schweiz AG.
