Sustainable Superfood-Powder

There shouldn’t be made any compromises when it comes to nutrition. Therefore, we have expanded our product portfolio with some interesting powders, which have their origin in Germany. All superfoods are natural, organic and conventional and are mostly harvested from young and healthy plants in spring or autumn. Let us introduce you to our new portfolio and be inspired by the variety of powders and fine cuts.

Which products are new in our portfolio?

Barley grass-Powder

The barley grass-Powder is produced by harvesting the young barley grass leaves. Barley grass is not only a good alternative to green leafy vegetables, it also combines valuable nutrients with a uniquely fresh taste. With its mild taste, which is easy to stir into yoghurt, suitable for baking and which gives smoothies and juices a fresh color, it is one of the most popular superfoods worldwide. There is a full 8 grams of fresh barley grass in just one gram of barley grass powder.

Oat grass-Powder

The gluten-free oat grass-Powder is obtained from the leaves of the young and healthy oat plant. With its mild taste which reminds of a freshly cut meadow, oat grass is ideal for into smoothies and yoghurts, for preparing salad dressings or as a coloring agent for homemade pasta. Diluted with a little water, it is also a good ingredient for soups or homemade bread. One gram of the oat grass powder corresponds to about 8 grams of fresh oat grass.

Spelt grass-Powder

The gluten-free spelt grass-Powder is obtained from grass, which is rich in minerals and vitamins. 8 grams of fresh spelt grass are needed for one gram of spelled grass powder. Spelt is the oldest grain in the world and has the highest nutrient content. Only the young leaves are harvested for production. Yoghurt and smoothies can be optimally supplemented by the slightly sweet spelled grass powder and other foods can also be colored. Especially athletes with a high energy turnover and very active people can cover their increased need for vitamins, minerals and antioxidants with the help of the protein-containing spelt grass-powder. Spelt grass is also one of the rare sources of vitamin B12, which has a purely vegetable origin. In a vegan diet, the spelt grass powder is particularly relevant.

Wheat grass-Powder

Another popular dietary supplement is wheat grass-powder. In addition to the barley grass powder, this grain is one of the most chlorophyll-rich and best-known cereals. The gluten-free, slightly sweet powder is obtained from the healthy, young leaves of wheat and is usually used to stir into smoothies. 8 grams of fresh wheat grass corresponds to 1 gram of wheat grass powder. Wheatgrass is not only rich in vitamins A, E and K, but also in iron, manganese and many other minerals. The high iron content in particular makes this product attractive to many women.

Alfalfa Powder

Alfalfa is more commonly known in Germany as Lucerne. The alfalfa is an old useful plant whose origin probably lies in Asia. The powder is made by grinding the dried leaves of the alfalfa plant. For one gram of alfalfa powder, about 11 grams of the leaves of the fresh alfalfa plant are required. It has a slightly spicy taste and is rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc etc. but also in vitamins and essential amino acids. This not only allows the powder to be optimally mixed into smoothies and yoghurts but makes it also suitable as a vegetable protein boost for food supplements.

Broccoli Powder

The type of cabbage called "stem cabbage", which is particularly valued in southern Europe, is also experiencing hype in the USA and Germany. If the leaves of the broccoli are dried, you get a powder with a vegetable-charcoal taste. Each tablespoon of broccoli powder contains almost 9 grams of fresh broccoli florets and also valuable vitamins, chlorophyll and important minerals. Whether in coffee, in stews, herb dips, pancakes or to complement lush green smoothies - the powder can be used in a variety of ways. In addition, long preparation times involving steaming, steaming or cooking can be avoided without valuable losses.

Spinach Powder

Our spinach powder can be optimally used for coloring pasta and other dishes. One gram of the unique spinach powder corresponds to about 10 grams of the fresh spinach. In the kitchen, the powder is a real all-rounder: due to its mild taste, spinach powder can also be used as a component of dumplings or as an additive to smoothies. A quantity of 2 tablespoons of spinach powder is recommended per half liter of liquid. Since the taste of the powder is only slightly reminiscent of spinach, it can also be used optimally for desserts when baking and gives your homemade food a fresh and appetizing color.
