New: Hemp protein

Extracted from the seeds of the cannabis plant, hemp protein is proving to be a real miracle powder. Thanks to its high biological value, its balanced nutrition facts, and its good tolerability, this plant-based protein source is hugely gaining popularity. TER Ingredients is in the final stages of the product launch and is looking forward to being able to include hemp protein as a firm fixture in the portfolio very soon.

Hemp protein is particularly notable for its unique nutritional values and boasts a pleasantly aromatic, almost nutty flavor compared to other plant-based proteins. It consists of 50% protein, 10% fat, 10% carbohydrate, and 22% fiber, and also contains all 21 amino acids. 65% of the protein contained in this product consists of edestin, an easily digestible protein that is almost identical to globulin, a protein found in blood serum. Furthermore, no allergic reactions have been recorded, meaning the product is accessible to a broader pool of consumers. With the unique properties and advantages over other plant-based proteins, hemp protein is increasingly proving to be an important product for the health and nutrition industry. New: Erythritol stevia blend

The areas of application for sweeteners such as stevia are limited due to its extreme sweetness and lack of volume. In products like baked goods, therefore, producers are increasingly looking to sugar substitutes such as erythritol, which boasts sweetness of 50-70 % compared to conventional sugar. To balance this out and combine the advantages of both substances, TER Ingredients is now introducing a blend of erythritol and stevia to its portfolio. By adding a small proportion of stevia, we achieve sweetness of approx. 120% compared to conventional sugar, and yet with the erythritol we maintain the volume required for the end product. Alongside larger order quantities, we are also offering small containers with customer labels on request.


New: Organic erythritol

Alongside erythritol in conventional quality, from this year we are also incorporating organic erythritol in our range, and the product can currently be ordered from us with a short lead time. Prices have remained stable since the commercial launch, and the market is currently showing no notable changes, so we assume that prices will remain at a stable level for the near future.
